A Visual Argument: My greatest childhood fear

I didn't do very well at Discover Zone birthday parties.

Slightly more plausible but equally anxiety-inducing was/is my fear of sharks in indoor swimming pools. I'm convinced that the only explanation for my swim team excellence was an overwhelming panic of being left alone in the deep end, where a nasty shark might burrow through the pool wall. I pretty much swam for my life. Apparently this fear wasn't too irrational, seeing as how a shark at the Atlantis resort recently moseyed his way out of the aquarium and into the public pool.
