This Gucci ad was the first high-fashion image that I liked. It was on the back cover of my mom's Vogue magazine in 1999 and I remember just staring at it for some glorious amount of time. Caroline Ribeiro looks like a slutty snake in that killer electric-blue python beaded dress, and the creepy tattooed bouncer in the back is kind of scary. Overall a pretty gothic, sexually charged atmosphere that I probably didn't need to obsess over at twelve years old, although it definitely shaped my POV on fashion (dark and slutty).
